UPCOMING EVENTS & MEETINGS

MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT

Hello my Friends,

Each of you puts the Magic in School Nutrition! Your dedication and commitment to the children that you serve, shows in everything that you do.

For those of you that were able to join us at the SNAM Annual Conference in beautiful Traverse City in November, I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did. Great breakout sessions, entertaining speakers, networking with colleagues and of course an amazing Exhibit Show, my mind is still racing with the many new ideas that I gained. If you were not able to join us this year, mark your calendar for November 2025 in the Cereal City of Battle Creek! I promise, you will not be disappointed.

It was my honor to work with the 2024 conference planning committee, the committee worked tirelessly to bring new sessions that emphasized the challenges that we face every day, providing inspiration to turn those challenges into opportunities for growth in ourselves and our teams.

As I reflect on the last several years, I continue to be amazed at the resilience and innovation that each of you have, as you strive daily to provide nutritious meals to the children of Michigan. Remember that you are not alone, connect with your peers and your team! SNAM and each of our members are here to support you!

June Altom, SNS

SNAM Board President

If you are not yet, I encourage you to become a member and join other Child Nutrition Professionals who share the same passion to feed Michigan’s children and share the Magic of School Nutrition. I look forward to serving you this year, please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help.
